Come on in and see how we make Siesta Key Rum!
The tour is free. It takes about 50 to 60 minutes depending on the number of questions. The first 20 minutes or so will give you a short history of the company, an overview of some of the big awards that our small company has won, an explanation of what makes our spiced and toasted coconut rums taste so good, and an overview of where our rums are available. After that we will explain the rum making process from mashing to fermentation to distillation. This will be followed with a discussion of barrel aging. The tour will make a final stop in the packaging room to see how Siesta Key rum is put into bottles.
At the end of the tour we will be pouring free samples in the tasting room. You can purchase a Siesta Key Rum shot glass for $2 if you would like to have your samples in glass. We also have cool t-shirts & hats available to show your SK rum love.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. You can come earlier if you would like to get your tour started right with some free samples!
Siesta Key Rum is available for purchase by the bottle in our gift shop as well.

The Siesta Key rum distillery is located on the north side of Sarasota in a rather ordinary looking industrial park. But don't let that fool you, you are going the right way! Siesta Key rum is not tourist trap rum. We are a real rum company in a real distillery.
The address is:
2212 Industrial Blvd.
Sarasota, FL 34234
We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 5.
Please check back here for hours during holiday weeks and for other dates that we may be closed.
We are not currently offering private tours for groups. If you have a large group you can email us which upcoming tour you would like to join and we will try to accomodate your group on a scheduled tour.
If you cannot make it in person, here is a virtual tour with Siesta Key Rum Founder/CEO & Distiller Troy Roberts, Siesta Key Rum COO & partner Tom Clarke, and Carlton Grooms from Coastlines & Tanlines.
